My simple things are all from our sweet little Saturday (yesterday!) For once, we had absolutely NO plans and nothing in particular that we wanted to get done around the house. We just lounged around in the living room until noon, which is rare for us. Greyson was 8 months old yesterday and he is so mobile. Crawling everywhere, standing with assistance, and now trying to stand on his own. Where did my little baby go?! He has been so intrigued with the screen door lately.
I could sit and watch him look out the window for hours. It's so neat as a mother to watch him processing everything that is going on outside. That little boy amazes me!
I've been trying to teach Tyler how to take photos in manual and I think he's getting a little better. I'm so glad he was able to catch this photo of me and Greyson. I feel like I don't have many photos of the two of us because I'm always the one taking the pictures!
We spent most of our afternoon in the backyard. Greyson got to play in his pool and was so mesmerized by our neighbor mowing. He just stood there and watched him for 10 minutes! If you notice this fabulous 'cage' we had to put around him, he is so interested in going anywhere and everywhere, that we need to contain him! To top of our great day, we spent our evening on the deck, enjoying our new patio furniture, margaritas, and fresh guacamole! GREAT day!
These are all great pictures and great stories to go along with them. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet sweet pictures of sweet sweet moments. The one of him at the door and the one of you two together are my personal favorites! melt. my. heart. I have a 9 mos old boy myself...but he's more laid back and still enjoys sitting while watching his 2YO sister dance around him...lol! Hoping someday he decides to move on his own! But for now, I'll enjoy it!! Glad you also got a day to do "nothing"...those days are rare, but are so "full" of good things!!! {visiting from simple things}
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I know what you mean about never being in photos though, every now and then i try to pass the camera off too, it's a beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love the B&W photo of him trying to open the door.
ReplyDeleteBailey, these shots are so precious! It's hard to say which one I love the most...that BW shot of your little guy by the screen door is so sweet and the photo of the two of you is definitely a keepsake, your hubby did a great job! :)
ReplyDeleteLove them all, but the black and white of him at the door is just great!
